Cloth

YAEYAH's cloth is chosen for how it reads in heat, not how it feels in a fitting room. Four families.

High-twist cotton-linen plain weave

Approximately 140–155 gsm. The base register of the house. Reads dry to the hand from the first wear. Holds its line through full sun. Softens by approximately 15% after the first wash, then settles.

Used in: Stone Air, Open Latitude, Quiet Transit.

Pure linen, high-twist plain weave

Approximately 150–165 gsm. Heavier than cotton-linen, with the same dry register. The pigment sits inside the weave rather than on top — deepens with wear, never lifts.

Used in: Dust Line, Palm Shadow, Night Clay, Quiet Transit.

Dry-touch basketweave Khadi

A coarse handloom weave with structural visibility. Reads textile rather than fabric. Weight reserved for autumn and winter compositions in the warm-climate seasonal logic.

Used in: forthcoming compositions.

Mineral-washed twill, 9–11oz

For trousers that need the weight to fall vertical. Mineral-fixed, not chemically washed. Holds creases sharp without becoming rigid.

Used in: Stone Air trouser. Forthcoming compositions.

Mills

Kutch — pure linen, mineral pigment fixing.
Gujarat — cotton-linen, twill, mineral wash.

All cloth woven, cut, and finished in India.
