How an order works
Every YAEYAH piece is cut one of two ways. The difference is not quality — the same cloth, the same hands, the same finishing. The difference is whose measurements it is cut to.
Standard Size
Cut to our house pattern — shirts S to 2XL, trousers waist 30 to 38. Choose your size, order, and it ships in one to two days. Returnable in the ordinary way, under our refund policy.
This is the right choice if you know your size and it sits well on you.
Tailored Fit
Cut to your own measurements, at no extra cost. Choose your closest size on the product page — we cut from there, adjusted to your numbers.
When your order is placed we send you a link. It takes about two minutes: read five measurements off a shirt you already own, or send us numbers your tailor has given you. We confirm them with you before a thread is cut.
Your piece is cut in two to three days from the moment we have your measure.
Why we ask for measurements
A garment cut to a size chart is cut to the average of a size band. A garment cut to your measurements is cut to you. The second takes longer and asks something of you — two minutes and a tape — and it is the reason a Tailored piece sits the way it does.
The first time is the only time. After that we have your measure, and every piece you order afterwards begins where the last one ended.
The Fitting
Your YAEYAH garment is cut to fit as it should from the first wear. The Fitting is there for later — bodies change, and a good garment should keep up.
Every YAEYAH garment, Standard Size or Tailored Fit, includes one fit adjustment with a tailor you trust within two years of delivery — and ₹500 from us.
Choose a tailor you trust and have the garment adjusted to the fit you prefer. Then send us one message on WhatsApp with your order number, which garment, what you had adjusted and your UPI ID or UPI QR code. That is the whole process. No form, no photographs, no bill or receipt. We pay ₹500 directly to your UPI, within one working day.
One claim per garment. The Fitting covers adjustments within the garment’s inlay — waist, seat, length, sleeve. It does not cover remakes or repair of wear.
Telling us what was changed lets us update your measurements, so everything made for you afterwards reflects the measure you are now.
Returns
Standard Size pieces are returnable under our refund policy. Once a garment has been altered it cannot be returned — so if you are still within the return window, decide whether you are keeping it first.
Tailored Fit pieces are cut for one man and cannot be resold, so they are not returnable. This is why we confirm your measurements before cutting. If we have cut against the wrong numbers, we remake the piece at our cost.
