This policy governs how YAEYAH collects, uses, and protects information when you interact with yaeyah.com.
What We Collect
When you place an order or create an account, we collect your name, email address, phone number, shipping address, and payment details. We also collect standard browsing data through cookies and analytics tools.
Fit and Sizing Information
If you use our size finder, we record what you enter — your height, weight, build, fit preference, and any chest or waist measurement you choose to give us — along with the size we recommended. If you send us a garment for a Tailored Fit order, we record the measurements we take from it.
We use this to help you choose a size, to cut Tailored Fit garments, and to improve how our sizing works. We keep your measurements so that later orders do not require them again.
We also store a randomly generated identifier in your browser. It lets a size worked out for you on one visit still be available on a later one, and lets an order be matched to the sizing help you used. It contains no personal details in itself, and clearing your browser data removes it.
Fit and sizing information is held in our Shopify account and in a private spreadsheet accessible only to us. It is not sold, and not shared for advertising. You may ask us to delete it at any time by writing to atelier@yaeyah.com.
How We Use It
Your information is used exclusively to process orders, communicate order status, and improve our service. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Payment Security
All payment transactions are processed through encrypted, PCI-DSS-compliant gateways. We do not store card details on our servers.
Cookies
We use cookies to maintain session continuity and understand site usage. You may disable cookies in your browser settings; doing so may affect site functionality.
Data Retention
Order and customer records are retained for a minimum of 7 years as required under Indian law. Fit and sizing information is kept for as long as you remain a customer, so that later orders do not require it again. You may request deletion of non-mandatory data, including your measurements, by writing to atelier@yaeyah.com.
Your Rights
Under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to access, correct, and request deletion of your personal data. Contact us at atelier@yaeyah.com to exercise these rights.
Third-Party Services
Our store runs on Shopify. Shipping is fulfilled through third-party logistics partners. Fit and sizing information is recorded in Google Forms and Google Sheets, in a private spreadsheet accessible only to us. These services operate under their own privacy policies.
